DRG is currently seeking an Account Manager for its Toronto office. As an Account Manager, you will be interacting with key individuals at Fortune 500 companies and leading healthcare organizations primarily over the phone with the goal of conveying the benefits of DRG?s products and services and closing sales.


Primary Responsibilities

  • Make 40-60 outbound phone calls a day to existing and potential Medical Technology clients to sell DRG market data and analytics
  • Create, develop and maintain a well-organized database of clients
  • Enter and maintain all activity in CRM
  • Provide constant and accurate forecasting of your pipeline activity on a weekly, monthly and quarterly basis
  • Meet or exceed defined sales quotas
  • Assist and liaise with Marketing Department and Research Analysts in the identification of target markets and building business development

Travel

  • Up to four times per quarter, plane travel likely required
  • Travel is subject to the discretion of management


Qualifications

Education, Experience, and Competencies Required:

  • Bachelor?s degree
  • At least 2-3 years experience selling directly to corporate clients
  • Experience selling over the phone is required
  • Any experience in healthcare or research services is a plus, but not required
  • Ability to pick up complex product knowledge and convey value proposition clearly and concisely
  • Solid writing skills required
  • PowerPoint and Excel expertise required
  • Experience with multimillion dollar quotas is a plus
  • Experience selling into MedTech companies a major plus
  • Experience selling to Director-level and higher a must
  • Must be a self-starter, motivated and willing to be independent
  • Must be able to work closely with teams both nationally and internationally to drive business
